Rodney J Duncklee, 70, of the Lake Geneva Area passed away on December 4th, 2023, at The Bay in Burlington, Wisconsin.
Rodney was born on December 7th, 1952, to the late Delbert and Elsie Duncklee in Minnesota.
Rodney was a jack of all trades; and if he didn’t know how to do something, he often figured it out or taught himself how to do it. From carpentry to plumbing and even some electrical so he could assist with different parts of the housing jobs he worked on. Rodney was good at even creative problem solving when in a pinch to fix something or build something without the exact parts.
In his younger days Rodney worked as a civilian on communications for the military out in the Atlantic Ocean on a couple of different islands.
Rodney did deep sea fishing in the Atlantic, would go on bike rides collecting chokecherries for making jams and jellies. He enjoyed playing racket ball, throwing darts, and enjoyed watching Star Trek, and most sci fi shows. Puzzles were also a regular pastime for Rodney, both jig saw and 3d kinds.
Rodney worked hard to provide for his family of four. He enjoyed helping anybody that needed an extra hand giving his time and skills when needed. He served at the inspiration ministries from time to time.
Rodney is survived by his four children: Andrea (Steven) Shaw, Daniel Duncklee, Valerie (Rob) Bakic, and Joshua (Adrianne) Duncklee.
Service for Rodney will be held sometime in the spring of 2024.
