Robert Shawn Wake

Robert S. Wake, 59, of the Hebron, Illinois area passed away on June 14, 2022, at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.

Robert was born to Robert and Audrey (Zick) Wake on January 1st, 1963, in Waukegan, Illinois.  Robert was a member of the graduating class from Round Lake High School in 1981. In 1984 in Round Lake, Illinois Robert was united into marriage to Dawn Stolte.

Robert was musically inclined and could sit in with any band.  He loved to be outside cutting the grass and had a knack for fixing anything electronic.  Robert was an honorary member of the Elgin Chapter of the Outlaws and was also an honorary member of the Dekalb Chapter of the Brothers Rising.

Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dawn.  3 children: Michael (Kayla) Wake, Johnathan Wake, Joshua Wake, and 2 grandchildren: Savannah and Athena all survive Robert. A sister, Patricia (Richard) Gillaspy and a brother Ronald (Susan) Wake also survive Robert.  Robert was proceeded in death by one sister: Linda Presby.
