Robert T. McAllister

“Bo” Robert T. McAllister, born March 15, 1970 in Maywood, Illinois, passed away on July 7, 2026 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. His sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Bo was the beloved son of Denise McAllister, who survives him, and the late Robert McAllister. He grew up surrounded by the warmth of family, creating memories alongside his sisters—Corinne Linden (and husband Dennis), Kelli Frommert (and husband Bob), the late Melissa McAllister, and the love of his life Julie Murray, all of whom were cherished deeply by him.

A proud native of Illinois, Bo made his mark on Lake Geneva by owning and operating Lakefront Shuttle Service, and worked for over 20 years at Harbor Shores in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Through his dedicated work, he not only built a business but also touched the lives of residents and visitors alike, building bonds and creating friendships.

Bo’s personality was warm and embracing, funny, kind, generous, and caring. He was, by all accounts, a genuinely good guy, remembered for being great to everyone he met. Bo loved being at the water whether it was a lake or on the shores of St. Pete’s Beach.  Life was a gift that Bo never took for granted; he embraced it fully, spreading joy wherever he went.

His love for Chicago sports was legendary among friends and family. Whether cheering on the Bears or the White Sox.  Bo lived for his Western fantasy football league, which he formed with his closest friends.  Bo and his friends have been through all of life's ups and downs together for the last forty years.  Bo found happiness in every play and every season, his laughter echoing during gatherings and game days.

Family was always at the heart of who Bo was. He adored his eight nieces and nephews, and his seven great-nieces and great-nephews brought him endless pride and joy. His affection for them was obvious to all—a gentle hand on a shoulder, a heartfelt laugh, an encouraging word.

His legacy is one of kindness and connection—a tapestry woven from countless acts of generosity and moments of shared happiness. Though the world feels dimmer without him, all who loved Bo will forever cherish the memories of his unwavering support and infectious zest for living.

“Bo” Robert T. McAllister’s spirit and love for life live on in those he leaves behind. In remembering him, may we carry forward his kindness, laughter, and the warmth he so freely gave to the world.
