Robert G. Ferguson

Robert G. Ferguson , 91, beloved husband of Geraldine Moore, passed away November 30, 2021 at Williams Bay Health Services in Williams Bay.  He was the cherished father of Donna (Joel) Stern and Robert M. Ferguson.  Grandfather of  Brittany (Ben) Van Auken, Amanda (Jason) Moy, Taylor Stern and Michael Stern. Great-Grandfather of Aiden and Oliver Moy.  He was an executive of Sears Roebuck for 37 years.  He played tennis, snow skied, water skied, and loved sports.  His claim to fame was playing golf with Jack Nicklaus at Sea Island, Georgia and being written up in the Sears magazine for his paintings of flowers and grandchildren.  He was Steward and Clerk of the Presbyterian Church in Palatine and also taught Sunday School.

Services for Robert will be held on December 9, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Robert’s name to the American Cancer Society.
