Robert Anthony Burke

Robert A. Burke, 64 of the Lake Geneva area passed away at his home unexpectedly on November 11, 2024.

Bob was born on December 19, 1959 to the late Anthony and Anne (Ostrowski) Burke in Chicago, Illinois.  Bob was one of six children. Bob attended Brother Rice High School in Chicago. After high school Bob studied at Waubonsee Community College.  Bob spent his career for 34 years as a custom cabinet maker at Lange CustomWoodworking.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite place to hang out was Geneva Lake distilling and winery, listening to music.

Robert is survived by his five siblings Kathy(Rick) Babijowski, John (The Late Imo Jean) Burke, Sue (The Late Tebo) Hageman, Marie (Edward Jr.) Mahay, and Anne (The Late Efrain) Herrera.  Bob was a great uncle To his many nieces and nephews and was a friend to many.

There will be a gathering of friends and family at Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva  on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 2pm-5pm for his visitation with a prayer service at 4:45pm.

There will be an additional celebration of Bob’s life at Geneva Lake Distilling and Winery formerly Studio Winery Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 5 to 9 PM.
