Robert Mark Borchardt

Robert “Bob” Borchardt died unexpectedly on May 11, 2024.

Bob was born to the late Edward and Lorraine Borchardt on June 17, 1951.  Bob graduated from Maine West High School in 1969. He went on to further his education at Roosevelt University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.

Bob was the beloved husband of 53 years to Gail (Anderschat) Borchardt.  A proud father of his sons James (Maralee) and Justin (Joanna). An adored, funny “Grampy” to his grandchildren: Ryan, Drew, Sara, Kelly and Hailey.  Bob always supported his grandchildren by attending their sporting events and school activities.  Bob enjoyed photography and was an avid car enthusiast.

There are no services planned at this time.

Memorial donations in his honor may be made to the American Heart Association .
