Richard Obadiah

Richard M. Obadiah, 66, 0f Genoa City, WI, passed away Sunday August 16, 2015.  Richard Myer Obadiah was born in New York, NY on September 2, 1948 the son of Saleh and Daisy (Bakhash) Obadiah.  He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1966; he then earned a Bachlor''s Degree in Theater and Public Relations from the University oof Wisconsin in Madison, WI.  He was the President of Star Legacy Funeral Network in McHenry, ILL.  Richard is survived by: his mother Daisy Obadiah of New York, NY, a sister Jean Coggan of Woodland Hills, CA, a nephew Christopher (Heid) Coggan of La Jolle, CA, a niece Lisa (Stephanie Middler) Coggan-Middler of Los Angeles, CA, a grand-niece Mavis Mae Middler of Los Angeles, CA and his beloved horse Dilan. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends also survive Richard.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral in Lake Geneva; Rabbi Dena Feingold will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Richard’s name to the Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation.  To sign the on-line guest registry click view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
