Richard Leonard Johnson

Richard L. Johnson, 84, of the Elkhorn, Wisconsin area died unexpectedly at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on November 8th, 2020.

Born Richard Leonard Johnson on June 9th, 1936 to the late Walter and Violet (Lindgren) Johnson in Chicago, Illinois.  Richard was a member of the graduating class of 1955 from Lane Tech High School.  On July 27, 1970 Richard was united into marriage to Valerie Laube.  Valerie proceeded in Richard in death on October 29th, 2005.  Richard found love again and married Priscilla Stone on June 27th, 2009.  Priscilla proceeded Richard in death on March 1st, 2016

Richard was a member of the East Troy Kiwanis Club, Briggs Road Church and the Mechanical Contractors Association.  Richard also sat on the board for the Oak Ridge Cemetery in East Troy, Wisconsin.

2 children survive Richard: Christopher Johnson of Greenfield, Wisconsin and Jennifer Johnson of Elkhorn, Wisconsin.   2 sisters: Avis (Steve) Mewbourn of Burlington and Donna Morgan of East Troy and  Lara (Mike) Bowman and Gregory (Younghe) Stone also survive Richard.  Richard was proceeded in death by his wife, Valerie of 35 years and his second wife of 6 years, Priscilla.

Services for Richard will be held on Friday November 13th, 2020 at 6:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 till the time of service on Friday.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Richards name to either Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Angels Grace Hospice, or the Pro Health Foundation.
