Richard A. Giovannoni, 73, a lifelong resident of Lake Como died Friday December 14th, 2013 at Vintage on the Pond. Richard August Giovannoni was born May, 18th 1939 to the late August and Florence Giovannoni in Hinsdale Ill. He was a graduate of Elkhorn High School in 1957. Richard was a self-employed auto mechanic. Richard was a member of the Lake Geneva Saints Car Club, a Lifetime member of the NRA, 300 Club, and of the Harley Owners Group. Richard is survived by Barbara (Grimm) Giovannoni, Tina (Lee) Bromberger of Hartland, Richard (Terry) Giovannoni of Elkhorn, and Tom (Amy) Giovannoni of Elkhorn. Richard is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Zachary (Angela) Giovannoni, Dylan Giovannoni, Jeremy Coleman, Sarah Bromberger, Anna Bromberger, and Carmen Wells: 2 Great Grandchildren Jaxon Giovannoni and Adam Nicewarmer. Richard is also survived by his 3 brothers; Ronald Giovannoni, Robert (Judy) Giovannoni, and Randy Giovannoni. and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Richard will be Tuesday the 18th of December at 5:30p.m. in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, Father Jim Scheurman of St. Francis De Sales Church will be officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00p.m. till 7:00 p.m. the day of the service. In lieu of other expression of sympathy memorials are requested in Richards name to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.
