With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Reed Charles Davis, who passed away at the age of 56. Reed was born on March 31, 1968, in North Chicago, Illinois, and spent his early years in Skokie, Illinois, where he attended St. Paul Lutheran Church & School, followed by Niles West High School & Indiana University.
Reed lived a life full of adventure, spending many years in Las Vegas before settling in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he resided at the time of his passing. He was a husband to Yuldelisse Abreau and a loving father to his cherished daughter, Mariel Elisabeth, who was the light of his life.
Reed was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gladys Davis. He is survived by his twin brother, Ross Davis, and his sister, Lynn (Rich) McWherter. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.
Reed had a successful career with CDW, beginning his career in Illinois and later in Las Vegas for over 25 years. His dedication and work ethic made a lasting impact on his colleagues and friends throughout his career.
Reed also had a deep love for travel, and Hawaii was his favorite destination. He found joy in camping under the stars, golfing on sunny days, and exploring new places. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors brought him happiness, and those who knew him will forever cherish the memories of his enthusiasm for life.
Reed was fortunate to have a solid group of high school friends whom he considered family. Their bond remained strong over the years, bringing him great joy, laughter, and unwavering support.
Rest in peace, Reed. Your love for adventure, family, and life itself will be forever remembered.
A memorial service will be held at Derrick Funeral Home, located at 800 Park Drive, Lake Geneva, WI. 53147, on March 1st 2025. A Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with the service to follow at 3:00pm.
