Raymond F. Hammerl

Raymond F. Hammerl, 83, of Williams Bay, WI, died Thursday July 4, 2013 at his home.  Raymond Frederick Hammerl was born December 3, 1929 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Raymond G. and Mabel (Lindemann) Hammerl.  He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Army.  On February 25, 1956 in Mount Prospect, IL he was united in marriage to the former Virginia Rechberger.  He owned and operated Hammerl Marble Sales in North Barrington, IL for many years.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many happy hours playing polo.
Raymond is survived by: Virginia, his wife of 56 years, 2 sons; Rick of Whitewater, WI and David of Crystal Lake, and 4 grandchildren; Grainger, Hailee, Christian, and Sarah.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Beverly Brennan.
A Celebration of Raymond’s Life will be held on Thursday July 11, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 800 Park Dr., Lake Geneva, WI; Pastor Phil Milan of the United Church of Christ in Whitewater, WI will officiate.  The Hammerl Family will receive visitors Thursday, at the funeral home, from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Raymond’s name to: Holton Manor Expansion Fund, 638 N.
