Peter M. Brewer, 64, a resident of Lake Geneva, WI, died at his home on Monday December 5, 2016. He was born on March 15, 1952 in Torrington, WY. He was a graduate of Torrington High School and Eastern Wyoming College. Peter worked in the building trades as a brick mason. He served full time in the Wyoming Army National Guard from 1986 until 1996.
Peter was a lifelong United Methodist and served in music ministries wherever he attended, never as happy as when he was making a joyful noise to the Lord. He was a true partner in ministry with his wife of 25 years, Rev. Heather Brewer, and eagerly accompanied her to serve God wherever her ministry took them. He loved his kids more than anything and adored his grandsons beyond all reason. He loved to wet a line, play his guitar and dabble in woodworking.
Peter leaves his wife, Heather, his children; Chad, Lisa, Misty, Hanna and Lucy, his grandson Leo Brewer, brother, Roy Brewer and sisters, Joyce Jeffries, and Dena Brewer, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents, Eugene and Ida Brewer and a grandson Ethan Giddens.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at Lake Geneva United Methodist Church, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, it is appreciated if memorials supported local food pantries and the Polaris Project to fight human trafficking (https://polarisproject.org).
