Pete Thompson

Pete Thompson, 77, of the Lake Geneva area passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday February 6, 2025.

Pete was born on April 25th, 1947, to the late Arthur and Marie Thompson.  On August 25th, 1966, Pete was inducted into the United States Marines where he would serve our great country for three years.  On March 17th, 1989, in Genoa City, Wisconsin Pete was united into marriage to Elaine “Candy” Kane.

Pete was a giver at heart.  He was involved in AA and NA, as well as the food pantry at Chapel on the Hill.  Pete was a mentor and took the Stephen Ministries Mentorship Program so he could provide to everyone even more.  Pete loved music and was in many bands and he was also an artist and loved to paint.  Pete was a Marine through and through, but he was a fantastic husband, a phenomenal father, and the best grandpa anyone could ask for.

Pete is survived by his wife Candy of 35 years and four children: Ronald Bloom Jr, Heather (Melissa) Fradkin, Anne Marie (Tiffany) Thompson, and Jonathon Goldoff.  Eight Grandchildren: Ariell, Willie, Kayden, Kiley Justyce, Britteney, Sanora, and Zack along with one sister: Sharon all will survive Pete.  Pete was proceeded in death by his parents Arthur and Marie and four siblings Charlene “Chucky”, Margaret “Peggy”,  Marie Jean, and Arlene.

Services for Pete will be held on Saturday February 22nd, 2025, at 10:30am at Chapel on the Hill.  There will be a celebration of Pete’s life after the church service in the Parish Hall.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you donate in Pete's name to Chapel on the Hill Food Pantry
