Paula Jean Yakes

Paula J. Yakes, 58, of the Lake Geneva area passed away on March 12, 2025, at St. Lukes Medical Center.

Paula was born on December 23, 1966 in Wisconsin.  She was united into marriage to Darrel L. Yakes on April 27th, 1994.

Paula loved to spend time outdoors with her husband Darrel.  Whether it was out fishing, riding on the back of his motorcycle, or in a kayak she could be found by his side enjoying the outdoors.  When it was time to relax Paula loved to watch the show Pitbull rescue or looking at a new tattoo to get.

Paula is survived by her husband of 30 years Darrel and three children: Desiree Hanson, Raymond Prentice, and Tarron Yakes.

Services for Paula will be held at Mount Zion Church in Lake Geneva on April 26th, 2025.  Visitation will be from 10am to 11am, with the service to follow at 11am.
