Patrick K. Mulhern, 57, of Silver Lake, WI, died suddenly of natural causes on Tuesday October 16, 2012 at his home. Patrick Kevin Mulhern was born in Chicago, IL on June 10, 1955 the son of the late Kevin and Sally (Trainor) Mulhern. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1973.
Pat dedicated his life to activities that allowed him to enjoy working outdoors. He spent many years living and working in Utah. Pat had a great love of horses, while in Utah, during the summer, he was a hard working ranch hand, a true cowboy. During the winter he worked as a snow groomer. In 2000 Pat returned to Silver Lake where he operated a successful window washing business. He enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family, especially his beloved parents though their final years. Pat will always be remembered for his dedicated friendship and his true appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He was a talented musician and spent his happiest moments playing guitar with close friends and family.
Pat is survived by: a sister Shawna (Carl) Schultz of Twin Lakes, WI, a brother Michael Mulhern of Kenosha, WI, a niece Haley (Dan) Derrick, and 2 nephews; Corey (Heidi) Schultz and Garrett Schultz.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Thursday October 25, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 800 Park Dr., Lake Geneva, WI. Pat’s family will receive visitors Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
