Patricia JoAnne Threlkeld

Patricia JoAnne Threlkeld, née Johnson, born on December 10, 1945 in Evanston, IL, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, in Burlington, WI at the age of 80. Her family is grateful for the care she received at Aurora Medical Center, Burlington, WI, as well as the continued caring support of Father Carlos Zapata, St Francis de Sales Parish, Lake Geneva, WI.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Threlkeld, Sr., her son, Richard Threlkeld, Jr. (Connie), her daughters, Kristen (Craig) Olson and Anna (Todd) Peters, her brother, Christopher Johnson, her six grandchildren, T.J., Jasmine, Andrew, Callie, Richard, and Benji, nieces, nephews, their children, and so many more wonderful family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steen and Marie Johnson, her father and mother-in-law, Thomas & Lois Threlkeld, her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Betty Threlkeld, sister-in-law, Kristine Johnson, and her daughter, Anna’s angel baby. Her memory will forever be a blessing to them. 

Pat was extremely proud to fulfill her lifelong dream of marrying the man of her dreams. They were happily wed on August 20, 1966. Together, they fulfilled another dream by raising 3 children and welcoming 6 grandchildren—each learning to appreciate Pat's Swedish heritage and traditions, especially during the Christmas season. Upon earning her Associate's Degree, Pat was able to live out her goal of educating children with special needs.  She worked for many years as a cherished teacher aide for the Lake Geneva Schools.  

Patti Jo was a most patient, loving and self-sacrificing soul who was adamant about inclusivity for everyone she met. She loved sunny days, nature - especially flowers & birds, beautiful Geneva Lake, its lakeshore path, and sandy beach. Her eyes twinkled when she was around babies. She was able to find beauty and the silver lining in any situation. She had a deep faith in God, living out her Catholic faith through her words, her actions, and the way she cared for others.  

Those who knew Patti will forever hold in their hearts her beautiful nature, pretty smile and especially loving hugs with enduring fondness.

Services for Patricia will be held on October 29th at Noon at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.  A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. 

Burial will immediately follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you please make a donation in Pat's name to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital.
