Patricia Jean Mathews Warner, 91, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Masonic Health and Rehab Center in Dousman, WI.  The former Patricia Jean Mathews was born in Burlington, WI on December 7, 1923 the daughter of the late Robert and Marguerite (Pendergast) Mathews.  She graduated from Davenport High School in Davenport, IA in 1942.  She was a Veteran of World War II serving as a Seaman First Class with the United States Navy Waves.

She was a loving mother, a family caregiver, and worked for many years at Sentry Foods in Lake Geneva .  She was a member of Frank Kresen American Legion Post #24 in Lake Geneva.  She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile.  A lasting impression was that she was well liked by many for her kindness and good nature.

Patricia is survived by: 4 children; Maria Peterson of Waxhowe, NC, Robert (Mary) Warner of St. Paul, MN, Kay (Tom) Julius of Fort Wayne, IN and Tracie (Larry) Fehrm of Hartland, WI, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a brother William Mathews of San Francisco, CA.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters; Betty Little and Katie Gleason

A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Thursday September 17, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva.  Father William P. McLemore of the Church of the Holy Communion will officiate.  Patricia’s family will receive visitors Thursday at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until time of services.  To sign the on-line guest registry click view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
