Patricia Marie (Dobiszewski) Debello

Patricia M. DeBello passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Patricia “Pat” M. DeBello was born May 17, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Florence Dobiszewski. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Rocco “Rocky” DeBello on November 24, 1959 in Chicago, IL and they honeymooned in Wisconsin Dells.  Pat and Rocky lived in Oak Park, IL until 1971 when they moved to Lake Geneva and founded Rocky and Pat’s Resort on Lake Como.  One of the highlights of their life was a trip to Italy with Rocky’s mother and sisters to visit family.

Pat was a devoted mother to her daughters.  She was an amazing cook and always prepared delicious homemade meals including many Polish and Italian specialties.  She passed on her wonderful baking skills to her daughters.   Pat filled her home with love and happiness.  She was blessed with three loving granddaughters.  She truly loved being a mother and a grandmother and would do anything for her family.

Pat had an infectious personality and brought joy wherever she went. She loved living in Lake Geneva, especially going for boat rides on the Lady of the Lake and sitting in Library Park for picnics.  Pat also loved the annual Venetian Festival and Walworth County Fair.

Pat was an avid Brewers fan and rarely missed listening to the game on her radio.  Pat was able to attend a game in person with her sister MaryAnn and nephew Jeffrey.  Pat loved that day and talked about it often.

Pat also loved spending time with her friends and making new friends wherever she went.

Pat is survived by her 3 children: Patricia (Keith) Haegele, Florence (Gene) Gibula, and Angela (Dawn) DeBello; 3 grandchildren: Madeline (Florence) Gibula, Chloe (Patricia) Haegele, and Miuccia (Angela) DeBello; and sister MaryAnn (Brian) Doornbos.  Pat was preceded in death by her sister Margie (Bill) Detloff.

She will forever be loved and missed by all who met her.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, December 20,, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales church, 344 Main St. Lake Geneva, WI.  Visitation from 9-11:00 followed by mass.
