Patricia Irene Block (nee Brist), age 90, formally of Woodstock, Illinois, passed peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Patricia was born on December 23, 1935, in Williams, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Claud and Ida Luella Brist.  Patricia grew up in northern Minnesota and graduated from Roseau High School in 1954.  Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and to her Lord and Savior.

Patricia married Clifford William Block on December 23, 1956, in Roseau, Minnesota.  Patricia shared 63 years with her beloved husband.  Together they raised three children and built a life rooted in love and dedication.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Patick M. Block, a grandson Timothy Swanson, and a great grand-daughter Migizi M. White, and ten siblings.  She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters:  LuAnn (Terry) Smith of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and Leslie (Eric) Swanson of Roseau, Minnesota.  Patricia's legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Adeline Gustafson of Salt Lake City, Utah.

A Celebration of Life is planned for May 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Services will be held at First Baptist Church in McHenry, Illinois.  A grave-side service will be held in June in Roseau, Minnesota, at the Malung Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donation be made to First Baptist Church, 509 Front Street, McHenry, Illinois.
