Pamela D. Webber, 94, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. The former Pamela Doreen Holbrook was born on July 1, 1922 in Nottingham, England the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Robinson) Holbrook. She was a graduate of Saint Dunstan’s Abbey in Plymouth, England. On August 2, 1946 she was united in marriage to John L. Webber; he preceded her in death on August 2, 1971. She served with the W.R.N.S. (Women’s Royal Naval Services) during World War II. She had worked as the assistant to the director of the P.A.F. Playhouse in Huntington, NY.
Pamela is survived by: 6 children: Susan (Howard) Ross of West Yorkshire, England, Sarah (John) DiFrances of Dousman, WI, Devonia (Joe) Keller of Osterville, MA, Penelope (Ed) Emma of Lake Geneva, WI, Roberta (Douglas) Erlagen of Huntington, NY, and Patricia (Mark) MacDonald of Bow, NH, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Peter Holbrook and a sister Anne Butcher.
Services for Pamela will be held Saturday December 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Linn Presbyterian Church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Pamela’s name to the Walworth County Adult Special Olympics C/O Betty Aguire, 1400 Huntersridge Dr., Unit 60, Genoa City, WI 53128.
