Nikki, aged 51 years old, was born on July 18, 1972 to Ralph “Homer” Bauman and Jeanne R. Bauman in Burlington, WI. She died peacefully on June 12, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn, WI. surrounded by her loved ones.
Nikki was the most selfless, genuine, non-judgmental, compassionate person you ever met. She would give you the shirt off her back, even when she didn’t have it to give. In addition to being the mother of her own 3 kids, throughout the years, she was “mom” to many others in the neighborhood. She lived her life simply and aways saw the good in others, offering whatever help she could to anyone that needed it. Nikki was a great cook and was always willing to share a meal with whomever was hungry. She loved butterflies, dolphins, rainbows, sunsets, the color purple, the breeze from the ocean, and just having a good conversation with a friend or family member.
Nikki was a lifelong resident of the Genoa City area, a graduate of Brookwood Elementary School and Badger High School. She was most recently employed at Alpine Valley Ski Hill and was the kitchen manager at Pat’s Brew & Que, Sharon, WI.
Nikki is predeceased by her father Ralph “Homer” Bauman, her mother Jeanne R. Bauman, an infant sister Annette Bauman, grandparents Leverl and Margaret Weese, Carl and Ruth Bauman and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nikki is survived by her boyfriend Billy Skinner, her 2nd mom Elizabeth “Liz” Bauman, brothers Doug (Patrick) Bauman, Ken (Shannan) Bauman, her children Jonathan Schulz, Bryan Larson and Kaili Larson. Grandchildren Kayden Larson, Stephen Larson and Tanner Dutcher. Nephews Andrew and Landyn Bauman. Special grandma, Betty Weese as well as many aunts and cousins.
Nikki is no longer in the physical world but she is with us everyday in spirit and will never be forgotten.

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones that do not. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living."
