Milton Fredrick Holtdorf

Milton F. Holtdorf, 83, of Spring Grove passed away on October 15th, 2021, at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Born Milton Fredrick Holtdorf on July 9th, 1938, to the late Louis and Henrietta (Thies) Holtdorf in Salem, Wisconsin.  Milton served in the United States Army from September of 1957 till October of 1959, then went on to serve in the Army Reserve Corp. till September of 1963.  After Milton got out of the Army he worked as a lineman for an electric company.  On August 12th, 1989, Milton was married to Brenda Edelman in Richmond, Illinois

Milton was a man who loved to do anything.  He loved to go fishing, play pool, take long rides on is Harley, and vacation with his friends and family.  Milton was very proud of his 30 plus year membership in AA and was honored to talk about his journey whenever he could.

Milton is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda.  Two children survive Milton: Rick Holtdorf and Brandy (Anthony) Petrat.  Six grandchildren: Zayn Petrat, Alexandria Kochheiser, Skylar-Starr Petrat, Justen Holtdorf, Daniel Schaefer, and Samuel Schaefer, along with two great-grandchildren: Jorden Holtdorf and Jaxson Kochheiser also all survive Milton.

Family is planning to do services in the future.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you donate in Milton’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  A link has been provided below.
