Millie Ann Kalinowski, aged 74, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones on June 19th, 2026. Born on November 28th, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, Millie embraced life with a warmth and kindness that touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Millie was a proud mother of three children- Tanya (Mark) Kasten, Toni (John Greenhill) Martin, and Henry (Kelly Casillas) Kalinowski; three step children- Kathleen (Tony) Kordowski, Mark (Hia) Kalinowski, Marvin (Shannon) Kalinowski. She also leaves behind a loving family that includes thirteen wonderful grandchildren- Challen, Chad, Kristy (Dustin), Peter (Alora), Justin (Melissa), Steven (Rae), Haley (Matt), Hank, Nicole, Hannah, Hailey, Chloe, and Sophia -as well as eight adored great-grandchildren- Ava, Rylan, Aiden, Kacelynn, Kaizlee, Charlotte, Emmett, and Blakey. Millie's legacy will live on in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews as well, who cherished her love and support.

She is survived by her siblings: Diane (Tony) Holbrook, Patti Gurley, Ronald (Debbie) Skipper, Richard (Tammy) Skipper, Carol (Skip) Skipper, and Russ Congelosi. Millie was proceeded in death by her husband Marvin J. Kalinowski in 2002, her loving parents, Henry and Grace Skipper, brother Henry “Skip” (Carol) Skipper, beloved daughter Tanya (Mark) Kasten, and brother-in-law, Lattif (Patti).

Millie's life was defined by the love she had for her family. She brought joy to those around her through her laughter and her ability to create cherished memories. Her spirit will forever be a part of her family's story.

Funeral services will be held in Millie's honor, with a ceremony to celebrate her life and legacy. These services will take place at Derrick Funeral Home on June 26th, 2026 at 4:00pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 3:00pm. The family invites all who knew Millie to join them in remembering her and supporting one another during this difficult time.
