Micheal (Mike) Glowaty, age 77, passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2025. Mike was born in Chicago, IL, on October 10th, 1948, and was the son of Edward and Constance Glowaty (Jendrzejewski).

Mike spent his early years in Chicago before moving to Wisconsin with his family. Mike loved fishing, watching boxing, the outdoors and being very active. Which took him to places like Colorado where he lived for years, as well as California, before moving back to Wisconsin, the place he proudly called home for decades.

Mike was a warm, kind-hearted man with an easy sense of humor that will be deeply missed by all who has the pleasure to know him. Mike had a passion for cooking which lead him to purse a culinary career through schooling. He felt at home in the kitchen allowing him to be creative being a chef for multiple restaurants throughout his life. However undoubtedly Mike’s greatest passion was his love for his Denver Broncos. Mike knew everything there was to know about the Broncos, cheering enthusiastically through every season and sharing that excitement with his friends and family. He wore his Denver ensemble as a “badge of honor” and rarely would anyone see him without donning his favorite hat, shirt or jersey. He was that serious about his Broncos and now he will watch every game from the best seat in Heaven.

He is survived by his three children – Pam, Nathan and Melody, who he loved deeply. Mike is also survived by his beloved sister-in-law, Marie Glowaty, and his nephews Tim Mulligan (Julie) and their children Alex and Zack, Mark Mulligan (Heidi) and Nix-Edward Glowaty, all who held a special place in his heart.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Sharon and Jackie, and his brother Dave. Their memories remained close to him throughout his life.

Mike’s life was shaped by family, loyalty and simple joys. His memory will be honored and cherished by those who knew him.

Visitation will be at Derrick Funeral Home Lake Geneva, WI on Thursday December 11th, 10:30 with a service starting at 11:00. Then he will be laid to rest at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery near Parents and Sister following.
