Maynard "Andy" Anderson

Maynard “Andy” Anderson, 81, of Pell Lake, WI formerly of Waukegan, IL, died Tuesday February 21, 2012 at his home.  He was born November 14, 1930 in Genoa, Nebraska the son of the late Leroy and Merle (Kreis) Anderson.  He graduated from high school in Wisconsin Dells, WI in 1948.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War.  On March 10, 1973 in Woodstock, Illinois he was united in marriage to the former Catherine Harrington; she preceded him in death on December 1, 2007.  He had worked as a bricklayer for many years.  He was a talented woodworker making many gifts for family members.  He enjoyed doing word search puzzles and jig saw puzzles.  His happiest times, however, were spent with his grandchildren.
Andy is survived by: 3 daughters; Connie Cicirello of Trevor, WI, Jill (Shane) Gasper of Skandia, MI and Karla (John Toney) of Twin Lakes, WI, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday February 24, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 800 Park Dr., Lake Geneva, WI.  The Anderson family will receive visitors Friday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.  To sign the on-line guest registry please click view/sign condolence book at bottom of this page.
