Maureen Kay Lenon

Maureen K. Lenon, 48, of Jefferson Wisconsin and formerly of Lake Geneva, WI, died on Sunday July 12th, 2015 at Fort Atkinson Hospital.

Born Maureen Kay Lenon on June 30th, 1967 to the late Robert and Ruth (Gile) Lenon in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. In 1984 after successfully completing Lakeland School in Elkhorn, WI, Maureen moved to Jefferson Wisconsin where she lived at St. Coletta’s School.  Maureen was proud to be a 30-year member of St. Colletta’s Schools.  Maureen loved her involvement in the University of Whitewater Excel Day Program.  Maureen was proud of her involvement in Special Olympics.  She loved shopping and all of the outings that she would go on.   Maureen loved all her housemates at St. Collettas and loved all of her friends that she made during her time there.

Maureen is survived by her 3 brothers: David Lenon of Alexandria, VA., Brian (Mary) Lenon of Waupaca, WI, and Patrick Lenon of Madison, WI.  1 sister also survives Maureen: Mary Smith of Lake Geneva.  Maureen was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth, one sister Katie Lenon and one brother in law Terry Smith.

Services for Maureen will be held on Friday July 17th, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Francis De Sales Catholic church in Lake Geneva, WI.  Father Jim Schuerman will be presiding.  Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of service in the side chapel of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church
