Mary Anne (Horvath) Detlefsen

Mary Anne Detlefsen passed away June 16, 2023 in Lake Geneva, WI at age 94.

Mary was born on May 29, 1929 in Chicago. She lived in Deerfield, IL, Long Grove, IL and Lyons, WI throughout her life. She was a wonderful mother to Nancy (Bob) and the late Tom as well as special Nana to Kelly (Evan) and Jamie (Matt). Happily married to the late Gordon for 67 years. Sister, auntie and friend to many. She had many talents and hobbies including sewing, story writing, gardening, walking, volunteering and baking. Her baking skills were shared with friends and relatives throughout the country. Her parties were fabulous. She also worked as an executive secretary for many years. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
