Mary E. Hogan, (nee Kinsella), 97, passed away on peacefully February 25, 2026, in Lake Geneva, surrounded by her family.
Maribeth was born in Chicago, IL to William and Elizabeth Kinsella, the youngest of three children. As a child, she enjoyed many summers at the family home in Fontana, WI.
She was a proud graduate of Mundelein College, class of 1950. During her lifetime she pursued several different careers, but the role of mom was her most cherished. On October 25, 1952 she married Jack Hogan. Together they shared 57 years of love and companionship. She was a devoted mother to Larry (Elizabeth), MaryJo (Tony), Lynn,(Lance), Mike (Maria), Mark and the late Thomas. Her twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren brought a sparkle and joy to her life.
Maribeth was an avid gardener, bingo and bridge player. She especially loved the family vacations in Door County where there were many laughs and fond memories created.
She enjoyed the company of her many friends, sitting on her patio and Friday happy hours.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 4th, 2026 from 10:00am till 10:45am. Words of remembrance by the family will begin at 10:50 am and funeral mass will start at 11:00am. Private family burial will happen at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Walworth County Meals on Wheels or to St. Francis de Sales Angel Fund.
