Martin "Marty" Hansen

Martin “Marty” Hansen III, 60, a lifelong resident of Lake Geneva died Thursday July 2, 2015 at his home. Marty was born in Geneva Township on June 27, 1955 the son of Martin and Dena (Holly) Hansen Jr. He was a graduate of Badger High School in Lake Geneva, graduating in 1973. Marty was a talented carpenter and took great pride in the work that he did. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved spending time at his spot up north at the big farm near Black River Falls. He spent many relaxing hours working in his flower garden. His happiest times were spent with his family and friends while barbecuing on his charcoal grill.
Marty is survived by: Peggy Cardiff, the love of his life for over 40 years, his parents Bub and Dena Hansen of Lake Geneva, a brother Mark (Trudy) Hansen, 3 sisters; Roxanne (Terry) Krohn, Valorie Hansen and Stacy (Mario) Camalieri all of Lake Geneva, several nieces, nephews and friends. He was Godfather to Kaitlyn and Lucas Hansen.
Services for Marty will be held on Thursday July 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake, WI; Pastor Brian Metke will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday July 8th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday in church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Marty’s name to the Time is Now, a link has been provided for your convenience on our website.
