Marjorie L. (Baumeister) Winters

November 25, 1941 — July 1, 2016

Marjorie L. Winters, 74, a longtime resident of Lake Geneva, died Friday July 1, 2016 in Eau Claire, WI. The former Marjorie Lou Baumeister was born in Bloomfield Township, WI on November 25, 1941 the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Brever) Baumeister. On March 19, 1973 in Elkhorn, WI she was united in marriage John D. Winters; he preceded her in death on May 3, 1998. She had worked for many years in the quality control department of Hevi Duty in Lake Geneva.

Marjorie is survived by: 3 sons: George F. (Linda) Hutter of Asheville NC, Joseph D. Hutter of Pekin, IL and Jerry D. (Beth) Hutter of Eau Claire, WI, a step-son John (Susan) Winters of Lake Geneva, WI, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Carol Baumeister of Bohners Lake, WI and Sandra (Tony) Conway of Burlington, WI, 3 brothers; Edward (Linda) Baumeister of Libertyville, IL, Richard Baumeister of Janesville, WI and Roger (Cindy) Baumeister of Burlington, WI and her companion Mac Krohn of Lake Geneva. She was preceded in death by: her parents, a daughter Connie Jean Hutter, a sister Virginia Snyder and 2 brothers; Wally and Arnie Baumeister.

Services for Marjorie will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva.  Marjorie’s family will receive visitors Wednesday, at the funeral home, from 5:00 p.m. until time of services.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Marjorie’s name to: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 20875 Crossroads Circle #350, Waukesha, WI 53186.  To sign the on-line guest registry go to: www.derrickfuneralhome.com.
