Lorna L. (Winger) Hanson

Lorna L. Hanson, 67, a lifelong resident of the Lake Geneva area, died Thursday March 14, 2013 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.  Lorna Lynn Winger was born in West Lima WI on July 8, 1945 the daughter of the late Loren and Myrna (Withrow) Winger.  She graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva with the Class of 1963.  On July 4, 1969 in Park Falls, WI she was united in marriage to Larry Hanson; he preceded her in death on August 18, 2009.  She worked for over 30 years as an Operations Manager for Badger Precision Spring Company in Genoa City, WI.  She was an avid reader.
Lorna is survived by: 2 brothers; Jack (Geraldine) Winger of Elkhorn, WI and Grant (Georgiana) Winger Sr. of Linn Township, WI and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Lorna will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2013, 12:00 p.m., in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, WI; Pastor Mark Moller-Gunderson of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva.   Visitation will be Wednesday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.  To sign the on-line guest registry please click: view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
