Age 76, beloved son of the late Theodore and Carolyn Jozefiak, loving brother of Carol (Ron) Kucha, Sue (Richard) Etter. Proud Uncle of Brian (Lindsey), Lauren, Katie Jo, Great Uncle of Julian. Best Friend of Cathy Harvey-Slawkin, dear cousin and special friend to many.
Larry grew up in Chicago and moved to Lake Geneva in the late 80’s, where he lived for the last 40+ years. He still remained an avid Cubs and Bears fan, through the good and bad years.
In Lake Geneva he found lake front living filled with great friends, and was his heart’s happy place. His other happy places were Cabo and anywhere there was a Jimmy Buffett vibe and music.
Larry loved to help people and took great pleasure in cooking for them. He could master many home improvement projects and had a great eye for detail. His handy work is shared in several family and friend’s homes.
If anyone needed help he would be there enthusiastically to lend a hand. Larry’s generosity was always there for volunteering for several charities, and hardly ever missed the Alzheimer’s annual walk. He loved running the Silver Movie Club and cooking for events when asked. His wit and joy for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
We will be celebrating a wonderful life by sharing our memories of a very kind and fun loving person,
Celebration of Life, to honor Larry will be held on Friday, Dec 29th, from 3-6 pm (of course it’s cocktail hours in his books) at The Bottle Shop. Thursday’s will never be the same.
