Lacy L. Ferguson

August 24, 1973 — August 26, 2021

Lacy L. Ferguson, 48, was born August 24, 1973 in Chicago, IL to James M. and Helen L. Ferguson.  He passed away peacefully on Thursday August 26, 2021 in Pell Lake, WI.

Lacy is survived by: his loving and exceptional daughter Leah, his parents James and Helen Ferguson, his identical twin brother Tracy, his three sisters; Trudy Puchalski, Sandi Bowman and Avis Corral. He is also survived by: 2 nephews; D.J. Puchalski and Alex Corral and a niece Megan Puchalski.

Lacy was born and raised in the great city of Chicago.  He graduated from Gordon Tech High School in Chicago and studied at Northeastern College.  He played hockey most of his life and his favorite team was the Chicago Blackhawks.  Lacy enjoyed music, biking, the Chicago Cabs, boating and most of all being a family man.  As an identical twin he had his brother Tracy as a lifelong friend and companion.

Lacy’s career was in building engineering.  For the last decade he worked as Facility Director for the Little Sisters of the Poor.  He loved his work and enjoyed serving the seniors and the facility.

Lacy was an avid fisherman and an archery expert.  He loved hunting and fishing with his dad, his brother and his dog Reggie.  Reggie, an Australian Cattle dog, wore a red bandana and loved to share ice cream with Lacy in the afternoons.

Lacy had many passions - photography, cooking and barbequing – to name a few.  However, Lacy’s greatest joy and treasure in life was his daughter Leah.

Lacy’s greatness as a father, son, brother and friend will live in our hearts forever.

Lacy is grateful for the superb care given by the doctors and nurses at Aurora Saint Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee and to family and friends for their love and support.
