Kyoko Jean Swick, 81, of Crystal Lake, Illinois died on April 8th, 2015 at Williams Bay Care Center.
Born Kyoko Jean Shoji on March 30th, 1934 to the late Kyoji and Chime Shoji in Sendai, Japan. On December 8th, 1953 she was united into marriage to the late Howard David Swick Jr.
Kyoko and Howard were the proud owners and operators of the Our Back Porch restaurant in Crystal Lake, Illinois
2 children survive Kyoko: Carl Swick of Sidney, New York and Linda (Rick) Diamond of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. 5 grandchildren: Chris Swick of Rockford, Ill, Lisa (Greg) Perz of Crystal Lake, Ill, Corey Diamond of Vancouver, WA, Katee (Craig) Mugnai of Lake Geneva, WI, and Ryan Diamond of Lake in the Hills, Ill all survive Kyoko. 3 great grandchildren: Payton and Chase Mugnai of Lake Geneva and Mya Bates of Vancouver, WA all survive Kyoko. Kyoko’s husband of 54 years, Howard David Swick Jr, preceded her in death on March 10th, 2008.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family of Kyoko has asked that you make a donation in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association. A link has been provided on our website.
