Kathleen Susan (Sheehan) Caflisch

February 14, 1949 — January 5, 2022

Kathleen Susan Caflisch, age 73, died peacefully on Wednesday January 5, 2022 in Williams Bay, Wisconsin after finally succumbing to a stroke that she suffered in late April of 2021.

Kathie was born on February 14, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the only child born to Marjorie and Harold Sheehan of Palatine, Illinois.

Kathie started her career at Aeronautical Radio as a data entry worker, but quickly set her sights on attending college. With two children, a husband and a full-time job, she started working on what would ultimately become two master’s degrees and PhD studies in the areas of Psychology, Social Work and Administration Management.  Social Work and Addiction Counseling would be her life’s work before retiring to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin in 2017.

Kathie is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Robert Caflisch and her two daughters, Shannon Yeaton and Erin Yeaton.  Her grandchildren include: Antonio Bernabe, Sara Bernabe, Teagan Morris, and Ania Morris.

Kathie was also the “furry mom” to a Ragdoll cat named  Snowy and a Himalayan named Stormy.  Throughout her life, Kathie’s love of animals can be found in every chapter.

Burial will be private, and a Celebration of Life will take place later in the Spring of 2022.
