Katherine Lorraine (Robers) Young

Katherine L. Young, 97, of Lake Geneva passed away on June 19, 2018 at her home.

Born Katherine Lorraine Robers to the late Lawrence and Gertrude (Borgert) Robers on December 19, 1920 in Lyons, Wisconsin.  On February 17th, 1942 Katherine was united into marriage to Denver Eldon young in Wadsworth, Ohio.

Katherine was a devoted mother and a fantastic grandmother.  In her spare time Katherine enjoyed being involved in the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

9 children survive Katherine: Roxie (Pete) Steinmann of Monroe, Wi, Mary Ellen Fritsch of Machesney Park, Il, Denver (Bonnie) Young of Eveleth, MN, Sam Young of Irving, TX, Melody Young of Lake Geneva, WI, Doug (Christine) Young of Muskego, WI, Katie (Gary) Holmbeck of Vancouver, WA, Raymond (Audrey) Young of Lake Geneva, and Anna (Gordon) Greer of Delavan, WI.  22 grandchildren, 39 and counting great-grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren all survive Katherine.   Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Denver, her parents, and her 7 siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial for Katherine will be held on Wednesday June 27th, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Visitation will be on Tuesday June 26th, 2018 from 4:00pm till 7:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home of Lake Geneva.  There will also be a short visitation from 10:00am till 11:00am prior to the mass on Wednesday.  Burial will immediately follow the service on Wednesday at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Cemetery.
