Karen M. (Jordan) Dronen

Karen M. Dronen, 57, of Capron, IL died Sunday December 30, 2012 at the Williams S. Middleton Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Madison, WI.  Karen Marie Dronen was born in Amsterdam, NY on September 28, 1955 the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane (Lombardi) Jordan Jr.  She was a graduate of Bishop Skully High School in Amsterdam.  She had served with the United States Army.  On June 22, 1980 in Helsingr, Denmark she was united in marriage to Marlowe Dronen.  She was a talented cook and also loved her cats.
Karen is survived by: Marlowe, her husband of 32 years, a brother Robert (Lisa) Jordan III, 5 sisters; Kathryn (Thomas) Perito, Barbara Jordan, Mary Beth (David) Lawson, Theresa Jordan and Joy Jordan.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Sunday January 20, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Christian Church 2330 Hwy 120, Lake Geneva, WI.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Karen’s name to: the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer.  Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, WI is assisting the Dronen family with arrangements.  To sign the on-line guest registry please click: view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
