Karen M. (Herr) Katzan

Karen M. Katzan, 75, of Lake Geneva, WI. Died Tuesday January 19, 2021 at her home.  The former Karen Mae  Herr was born in Chicago, IL June 24, 1945 the daughter of the late Jacob and Edith (Younguist) Herr.  She was married to Gary Katzan; he preceded her in death in 2002.  She had worked for many years as a Senior Litigation Specialist for GE Capital.

Karen was an avid bowler; she also enjoyed time outdoors working in her flower garden, kayaking and hiking.

Karen is survived by: 2 daughters; Jodi (Greg) Mahlstedt of Crystal Lake, IL and Kathleen of Pell Lake, WI, 4 grandchildren; Aaron, Asa, William and James, a brother Mickey Herr of Reedsburg, WI  and a sister Diane (Alan) Freudenheim of Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Alan.

Services for Karen will be held at a later date.
