June L. (Malsch) Eytcheson

June L. Eytcheson, 82, a lifelong resident of Lake Geneva, died Tuesday October 30, 2012 at her home.  The former June L. Malsch was born in Lake Geneva, WI on April 4, 1930 the daughter of the late Lewis and Winifred (Wilson) Malsch.  She graduated from Lake Geneva High School in 1948.  On May 3, 1952 in Lake Geneva, WI she was united in marriage to Keith R. Eytcheson.  She had worked for many years at the Lake Geneva Public Library.  She was an active member of the Lake Geneva United Methodist and volunteered for the Methodist Church Coat Closet.  She volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years and for 8 years she ran it.  Following her retirement from the Lake Geneva Library she volunteered with the Friends of the Library.  When Keith was in the Air Force and while they were living overseas she did volunteer work for various charities.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and made many hats for new born babies throughout the years.
June is survived by: Keith, her husband of 60 years, a daughter Nancy (K.T. Mac Donald) Eytcheson of Lake Geneva, WI and a brother Les (Pauline) Malsch of Lake Geneva, WI.   She was preceded in death by a son Keith Eytcheson Jr.
A Celebration of June’s life will be held on Friday November 2, 2012 at 12:00p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Reverend Keith Aurand Pastor of the Lake Geneva United Methodist Church will officiate.  The Eytcheson family will receive visitors Friday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in June’s name to: V.N.A.
