Josephine L. (Cirrincione) Gerambia

Josephine L. Gerambia, 91, a longtime resident of Pell Lake, WI, died Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, WI.  The former Josephine Lucia Cirrincione was born in Vicari, Sicily on December 13, 1926 the daughter of the late Luigi and Catarina (Amatori) Cirrincione.  On June 18, 1949, in Sicily, she was united in marriage to Michael Gerambia; he preceded her in death on June 5, 1969.  In 1967 she and Michael opened Gerambia’s Italian Restaurant and Motel in Pell Lake and ran it for many years.

Josephine was a member of Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI.  She was a former member of the Lioness Club in Lake Geneva.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends traveling and playing cards.  She was a very talented cook creating many delicious meals for family and friends.  She was a beautiful lady with an infectious smile and always a kind word to say: she will be dearly missed.

Josephine is survived by: her daughter Concetta (Dan Hurzeler) Gerambia, a granddaughter Alesandra Sharfe both of Pell Lake, WI, a brother Vincent (Ana) Cirrincione of Van Nuys, CA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday August 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva; Father Mark Danczyk will officiate.  Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.
