John Michael Corley (Mike), aged 69, passed away on October 17th, 2022 in his home in Elkhorn, WI after a battle with lung cancer. Born to Marvine and John W. Corley on March 18th, 1953, he grew up andspent most of his life in Lake Geneva and some of his fondest childhood memories were of fishing an exploring the White River and spending time at the lake. He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Clay and Heather (Greg) Dich; granddaughter, Lily; siblings, Jill (Clay) Melton, Matt (Wendy) Corley, and Mark Corley; niece, Alex Melton; and his many sibling-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Mike will be remembered by family and friends for his quirky humor and desire to make people laugh, his fierce determination, and his unique ability to connect with animals. He was a proud brick mason and built many homes, schools, and other buildings in southeastern Wisconsin throughout his career.
The family will be holding a private memorial service and would like to thank the exceptional and kind nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice for their services and support.
