Jeffrey Warren Ranker, born on April 14, 1967, in Burlington, Wisconsin, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Lyons, Wisconsin. His life was marked by dedication to both his profession and his passions, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Jeff was deeply committed to his work as a heavy equipment operator at Wanasek, a role he loved and approached with unwavering professionalism. Equally important to him was his lifelong identity as a farmer, a passion that connected him to the land and his heritage in a profound way. Beyond his career, Jeff cherished spending time with family and friends, embodying the kind of warmth and loyalty that defined his character.

An aficionado of classic television, Jeff found joy in old Westerns. Also, he held a keen interest in World War II history, reflecting his appreciation for stories of courage and resilience. He also loved good food and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through working out, demonstrating his zest for life in many forms.

Jeff’s devoted family includes his beloved wife of 29 years, Vicki, who stood by his side through life’s many chapters. He is survived by his two sons, Christopher Ranker and his wife Alyssa, and Noah Ranker, as well as his siblings and their spouses: Mike and Rose, and Lynn and Kevin. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Ethel, whose legacy he carried forward through his own life and values.

Family, friends, and all who knew Jeff are invited to honor his memory at the Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 800 Park Dr, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, 53147. A visitation will be held on June 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., providing an opportunity to commemorate his remarkable life and the many ways he enriched the lives of those around him.

Jeffrey Warren Ranker’s legacy is one of hard work, devotion to family, and an enduring love for the simple pleasures and profound stories of life. His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him and serve as a testament to a life well-lived.
