Janis Anne (Marshall) Lowell

Janis A. Lowell, 77, of the Lake Geneva area passed away on September 25, 2024, at Geneva Lake Manor.

Janis was born on July 25, 1947, to the late Willard and Carol (Lesner) Marshall in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of the graduating class of 1965 from Mount Prospect High School and then went on to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Janis was united into marriage in 1968 to the late William Lowell in Mount Prospect.

Janis was an active lady throughout her life.  She enjoyed being outside weather it was in her garden, out on a hiking trail, or travel with her friends.  When she wasn’t out in the great outdoors, she could be found in the kitchen cooking up a good dinner or sitting in her favorite spot knitting.

Janis is survived by her four children: Darrell Lowell, Rebekah (George) Kaider, Jed (Wendy) Lowell, and Dakota Lowell.  Three grandchildren: Jacob, Christine and Sam along with four siblings: Phillip Marshall, Judy (John) Forsberg, Katy (Roger) Hruby, and Patty (Ken) Horak also survive Janis.  Janis was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Carol and one sibling, Andrea Majewski.
