Janice Lou Hagerman, a spirit of vibrant tenacity and warmth, was born on July 30, 1941, in the charming city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After a life rich with passion and accomplishment, she gracefully departed this world at the Aurora Burlington Hospital on January 23, 2026.
From a young age, Janice demonstrated a remarkable flair for the artistic. An accomplished dancer in both Tap and Ballet, she often enchanted audiences alongside her beloved brother Kenneth, delightfully clad as the whimsical figures of Raggedy Ann and Andy. This fondness for performance not only underscored her creative talents but also showcased her infectious joy for life, captivating those fortunate enough to bear witness.
Janice possessed a profound enthusiasm for sports, particularly her unwavering allegiance to the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers, loyalties that she celebrated with the spirited fervor of a true fan. Her interests extended into the world of numismatics, as she became an avid coin collector, tirelessly seeking out rare pieces that reflected the history and beauty she cherished.
As a member of the Rebekah Fraternal Order of Wisconsin, Janice's dedication and leadership shone brightly during her tenure as president, where she supported the organization’s heartfelt mission across the country. One of her proudest accomplishments was attending the Rose Bowl Parade, where she had the distinct honor of contributing to the Rebekah Fraternal Order Float, cementing her legacy of kindness and service within her community.
She leaves behind her dear best friend, Patricia I. Mott, who will forever treasure their cherished memories; a testament to the deep bonds of friendship that defined Janice's life, and her one nephew Jay Hagerman. She is warmly remembered for her vivacious spirit, kindness, and dedication to family and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alfred and Florence Hagerman, as well as her cherished brother, Kenneth. Together, they have formed a constellation of love that will continue to shine in the hearts of those she so deeply impacted throughout her beautiful journey in life.
In celebrating the essence of Janice Lou Hagerman, we honor a life filled with love, creativity, and unwavering passion, forever etched in our memories.
