James Allen Mccullough

January 28, 1949 — April 2, 2016

James A. McCullough, 67, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Saturday April 2, 2016 at Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.  James Allen McCullough was born in Hammond, IN on January 28, 1949 the son of the late Joseph and Jane (Dobrowski) McCullough.  He graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, IL in 1967; he then graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL with a degree in Marketing.  In March of 1971 in Calumet City, IL he was united in marriage to the former Ann Milyasevich.  He was an avid fan of Wisconsin Badger’s sports.  He was a collector and enjoyed spending time at flea markets.  He also enjoyed boating on Geneva Lake.

Jim is survived by: His wife Ann, 2 children; Meghan (Jeff) Brennan of Hinsdale, IL and Beau McCullough of Chicago, IL, 2 grandchildren; Madeline and Ryan Brennan, a sister Jane Hensley of Shalimar, FL and 2 brothers; Joe (Connie) McCullough of Cadiz, KY and Dan (Carol) McCullough of Frankfort, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Thursday April 7, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church; Father Jim Scheurman will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, in church, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Jim’s name to Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church.  Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva is honored to be assisting the McCullough family with arrangements.  To sign the on-line guest registry click guest book/condolences.
