May 9, 1945 — February 1, 2024

Bloomfield, Wisconsin

James C. Dummann, 78, of the Bloomfield, Wisconsin area passed away on February 1, 2024.

James was born on May 9th, 1945, to the late William and Bernice (Lassig) Dummann in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.  On August 4th, 1990, in Lake Geneva, James was united into marriage to Dorothy Havel.

James loved to go hunting, especially deer hunting, and loved all types of guns.  James loved Motorcycles, especially his 2005 Harley Softail.  James would take off every year for weeks to travel around the United States on his Harley, never knowing where he was going but just out enjoying the ride.  He was known to hop on the Harley and take off to go hundreds of miles just for lunch.   James loved the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and spent 34 years going to it, never once trailering the Harley.  James loved his family, loved his granddaughter, and loved his dogs, Baby, Maggie, and Bella.

James is survived by his wife of 33 years Dorothy.  James’s two children: James (Christina) Dummann and Jamie (William) Hagmeier and his one granddaughter; Lola, all survive him. James is preceded in death by his late son, Thomas Dummann.
