Jackie Lee Garcia, 68, died unexpectedly in her hometown of Delavan, WI on June 30th 2022.
Jackie was born on July 3rd 1953 in Chicago, IL to the late Elvera Skiles.
Jackie graduated from Burlington Highschool in 1971. She was married to Wilebaldo Garcia on July 31st 1985. She spent most of her life working in the manufacturing industry up until her retirement a few years ago.
Jackie is survived by her two children: Omar (Jenny) Garcia of Elkhorn and Jasmine Garcia of Delavan. Husband, Wilebaldo Garcia of Delavan. Five siblings: Randy (Ron) Humes, Kevin Bauer, Craig (Cheri) Bauer, Sharon (Zarko) Pelicaric and Jerry Bauer. One grandchild, Aidan McDaniel as well as many nieces and nephews she was very close with and two new additions, a great niece and great nephew. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Khloe and Andy.
Jackie was preceded in death by her mother Elvera Bauer, son Mickey Skiles, brother Kelly Skiles and sister Billie Jo Sennett.
Jackie was part of the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa tribe in Minnesota where she enjoyed visiting and sharing her Native American culture. Jackie was enjoying retirement over the last few years spending time with family as often as she could, especially her children and her siblings. She was a holiday enthusiast and had a special love for Christmas and gift giving. Jackie was an avid jewelry collector and was known for her beautiful statement pieces she would wear. Her favorite color was cobalt blue which can be found adorning many of her jewelry pieces. She loved her dogs, Khloe and Andy and those that have since passed, Sadie, Stewart, Autumn, and Lena. Jackie knew how to light up a room with her contagious laugh after reminiscing of stories and memories from the past. She enjoyed playing board games and would have the whole room in tears laughing so hard with the answers she would come up with. She loved listening to music and watching movies. She would spend several weekends with her children surrounded by good food and movie marathons lasting late into the night. Some of her favorite actors included Omar Sharif (who she named her son after), Yul Brynner and John Travolta. Services for Jackie will be held on Tuesday July 12th 2022 at 3:00pm with visitation from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.
