Henry Wolt

Henry Wolt, 88, of Lake Geneva, WI, formerly of Downers Grove, IL and Lombard, IL, died Tuesday January 12, 2016 at Artisan Senior Living in Lake Geneva.  Henry was born September 26, 1927 in Poland; he immigrated to the United States 1952.  He was married to the former Esther Mattivi; she preceded him in death on February 19, 2013.  Henry had worked as a switchman for the Burlington Northern Railroad for many years.  Henry’s happiest memories are of the time he spent on his tree farm in Wisconsin.  Henry is survived by: 3 children; Robert Wolt of Downers Grove, IL, Lillian (Ronald) Blake of Lombard, IL, and Claudia (Donald) Germann of Lake Geneva, WI and a granddaughter Kylie Germann.  A Memorial Service will be held at Saint John’s Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln St. in Lombard, IL on February 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.  Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva is assisting the Wolt family with arrangements.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Henry’s name to Saint John’s Lutheran Church.  To sign the on-line guest registry click view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
