Heather (Cowie) Szydlo

Heather Szydlo, 92, of the Pell Lake area passed away on Sunday August 28th, 2022, at Oak Ridge Nursing Home in Union Grove, Wisconsin.

Heather was born February 16th, 1930, in Scotland to the late William and Henriette Cowie.  Heather was one of three children that William and Henriette had.  Henriette was united into marriage to the late John Szydlo.

Heather loved to do knitting and crocheting.

Heather had two children: Etta Marie Ward and William Cowie Szydlo, both proceeded her in death.  Heather is survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one son-in-law.

Visitation for Heather will be held on Thursday September 1st, 2022, from 5:00pm till 7:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be held on Friday September 2nd, 2022, at 12:00pm at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois.
