Gregory James Bush

Gregory J. Bush, 81, of the Lake Geneva, Wisconsin area passed away at his home on February 4, 2025.

Gregory, or Greg as he was known to everyone, was born in Trevor, Wisconsin on September 17, 1943, to the late William and Jeanette (Haas) Bush.  Greg graduated from Wilmont High School in 1961. After high school Greg went on to DePaul University where he received a bachelor’s degree in math.  On May 3, 1968, Greg was inducted into the United States Marine. Greg, along with his brother Richard, owned and operated Champs Sports Bar and Grill in downtown Lake Geneva.

Greg is survived by his three children: Jake (Stephanie) Bush, Jes (Gregg) Christenson, and Grace (Michael) Licht and his best friend Julie.  Six grandchildren: Kate and Keira Bush, Nicky, Kenny, Walter, and Pierce Licht; three grand dogs: Cabo, Bridger, and Bolt all survive Greg.  Greg was proceeded in death by his parents William and Jeanette and his three siblings Richard Bush , Mary Bush, and Diane Lawrence

A celebration of Greg's life will be held at Champs Sports Bar on Monday February 10th, 2025 from 3:00pm till 6:00pm.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you donate in Greg's name to the Kisses From Friends foundation.
